The Iowa Association of Pathologists (IAP) was formed in 1940 and represents the practice of pathology in Iowa. Any pathologist who holds a valid license to practice in Iowa and whose primary practice is the field of pathology is eligible for active membership. Membership for resident physicians is free and automatic.

To join IAP, you can submit your application online at this link. Once reviewed and approved, payment will be processed.
Alternatively, you can download and print the dues statement and mail it, with your check, to: Iowa Association of Pathologists, 515 E. Locust Street, Suite 400, Des Moines, IA 50309.
IAP dues are $100 per year for practicing pathologists.

Professional dues may be deducted as a necessary business expense for federal income tax purposes, but may not be deducted as a charitable contribution.
